Hello there, hope you’re doing well. I am back once again with a gorgeous maxi dress made using a Mimi G. Style sewing pattern. I’m not sure if  I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m sew (lol) obsessed with Mimi G. She has inspired me on so many levels. She’s actually one of the main reasons I started this blog. In 2015 I attended her Passon to Profit workshop which was very informative. If you get a chance to attended any of her workshops or conferences you should go, you won’t regret it, trust me. Anyways, below is my pattern review and styling ideas. Let me know what you think of this dress and how I styled it.

Pattern Description:
Simplicity 8084
Pattern Sizing:
I cut a size 14
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing it?
Yes, besides the modifications I made
Were the instructions easy to follow?
Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
Like:
I like that it already comes in a maxi length so I didn’t have to lengthen the dress as I do with a lot of patterns
I like that it has a drawstring
Dislike:
Nothing
Fabric Used:
100% Viscose
Pattern Alterations or any design changes made:
Extended the sleeves.
Would you sew it again?
Yes.
On a scale of one to three, one being the least,  how modest is this pattern?
5.
Conclusion:
Love it and the print of the fabric makes it pop.
